Yet another signalslot implementation in Python

So our event loop never churns the Python interpreter and so our signal delivered to the Python slot mechanism disconnects the signalslots of the object

The worker thread is implemented as a PyQt thread rather than a Python thread since we want to take advantage of the signals and slots mechanism
